The HUST spring semester will start from February 17th to July 1st, 2020. Chinese Language Program, Foundation Program and Visiting Student Programs are offered in this season.

Notes:
1. Undergraduate programs and postgraduate programs are only available in the Fall Semester. The Application will start in January 2020.
2. Tuition fee is waived for students from partner universities on condition that they are nominated to study at HUST by the authorities.
The Chinese Language Program serves to help the international students, from very beginners to advanced learners, to improve Chinese language proficiency. Multiple-level courses from A to F are offered to meet the various needs of learners at different levels.
The curriculum includes:
Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Speaking, Chinese Reading, Chinese Writing, HSK and so on. Compulsory courses and elective courses are both available for each level.
After finishing the study, students will receive completion certificate and tran if they meet the requirement of examination and attendance.
The Foundation Program provides a comprehensive training for the students who will major in MBBS, Pharmacy, Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation with English-medium instruction. It aims at cultivating the students with improved language skills and a better understanding of the theoretical knowledge of their future specialties, and is playing a vital role in preparing the students for their further undergraduate study .
The curriculum includes:
English Listening, English Speaking, English Reading, English Writing, Medical English, Biology, Chemistry, Comprehensive Chinese, Brief introduction to Chinese Culture.
The students pass all the exams will receive the Certificate of Completion, the other will receive the Certificate of Study.
Chinese Language/Foundation program applicants:

6. Certificate of Non-criminal Record
7. Financial Certification/Bank Statement (3,000 USD or above)
Exchange Applicants from partner universities:

3. An official nomination letter from the university
4. An official tran
5. Study Plan or Personal statement
6. International Insurance
7. Physical Examination Form
Note: Academic document issued in the third language should be notarized in Chinese or English version.
The document should be true and valid.
Physical Examination Form is not required for applicants with Resident Permit in China.
1. Login the online application system http://admission.hust.edu.cn/ .
2. Upload the required documents and submit your application.
3. Once you are admitted, a notification would be delivered via the system. As required, please finish the p ayment of application fee (600 RMB) in 2 weeks by Chinese bank card (UnionPay), Alipay, Wechatpay or International Bank Card (VISA/Master) online.
The application fee for Exchange Students from Partner Universities is waived.
4. Upon receiving payment, the university will issue the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form in two weeks.
5. Admission Package will be delivered in 10 days once Admission Document is ready.
Completing and submitting your application accurately and punctually is crucial. Early submission of the application is strongly recommended.
